I draw a great amount of inspiration living on the west coast.  I grew up in Wichita, Kansas, and always felt a pull to the Pacific Northwest and its temperate rain forests. I moved to Bellingham, Washington and knew this area is where I belong.  Since then, my path has continued north by a few miles to Vancouver, British Columbia, which has become my home.  Here,  I am constantly drawing inspiration from the trees, ocean, and mountains that surround me.  I try to transfer the world as I see it onto canvas.  I believe creativity is a gift, and it can not be owned.  My attempt is to use this gift to show my point of view on life, spirit, and growth.
